DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES *

  • Work with the Harvest leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive and innovative marketing outreach plan targeting medical offices, certification centers, law firms, and other local businesses, organizations, and referral sources.
  • Work collaboratively and seamlessly with staff to identify new potential businesses and organizations to create lasting relationships.
  • Determine potential partners relevant to Harvest through ongoing research and evaluation.  Cultivate those prospects that best align with Harvest’s strategic short-term and long-term priorities and needs.
  • Research and assist Marketing in developing plans for expanding Harvest’s presence.
  • Serve as an ambassador of the mission of Harvest in the interaction with current and potential partners, local businesses, organizations, and the media.
  • Maintain current reports and logs for weekly submission to supervisors.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
  • Coordinate events to promote Harvest’s presence within the community.
  • Foster open communication between medical providers and Harvest’s Medical Director to promote better education, understanding, and medical indication for the use of cannabis as it relates to the treatment of qualifying serious medical conditions.
  • Track marketing efficacy by reviewing referral source on new patient demos.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for referral sources.
  • Work collectively and respectfully with other team members.
  • Additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS *

  • Experience in the healthcare field including interaction with physicians and ancillary staff.
  • Moderate knowledge of medical marijuana patient qualifying conditions.
  • Experience marketing to cold prospects.
  • Excellence in sales and prior experience as a medical or pharmaceutical rep is a plus.
  • Demonstrates excellence in both oral and written communications. Knowledge of external communications and cultivation techniques are essential.
  • The ability to work through stringent deadlines with acute attention to detail is required.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Ability to coordinate all aspects of an event including – logistics, correspondence, financial reports, and printed materials.
  • Ability to coordinate and lead committee meetings.
  • Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to positively influence people; must be capable of effectively interacting at all levels in the organization.
  • Detail oriented with an eye on process optimization.
  • Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 10 pounds if relevant to job duties listed above.
  • Throughout extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the work day. Must be capable of working in front of a computer for extended periods of time based on job duties listed above.
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership both verbally and through written media
  • Ability to articulate job goals in a manner they’re completed effectively the first time.
  • At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US.
  • Proper employment documentation; reliable transportation, and valid driver’s license.
  • If necessary, ability to work 7 days per week and to be flexible with schedule.

EDUCATION *

  • Minimum High School or G.E.D equivalent is required.
